PawPaw--Thank you so much for your reply and the advice you gave me. When I see the mileage calculations you did, the venture became even more daunting. One question I have ...Do you or anyone know of someone who has done this? I was hoping to be able to find another RV-er with my same aspirations, or even somebody who made the trip motel to motel while driving a reliable comfortable SUV or whatever. Airplane hopping from track is over my budget and I would miss out on the sightseeing portion of the excursion. To modify my trip, maybe skipping some of the tracks I have been to makes more sense. Anyway, thanks again to you and others who have or will still weigh in.
