traveling coast to coast class A with motorcycle. ?
Wanting to set up base camps then ride motorcycle to see the sites. And suggestions?

Man I envy you - really!! I can only comment on one portion of your proposed trip - Colorado. Took the truck camper with the Road King in tow to Durango and stayed in a campground (Durango Riverside Resort) on the Animas river as a base camp then explored the area on the Harley. A MUST ride is the Million Dollar Hwy (State 550) you can leave out of the campground, take 550 up through Silverton, to Ouray, to Telluride then make the loop down through Rico and back to Durango. Another day ride over to Mesa Verde Nat'l Monument (great ride through the park). Several other great rides in the area - too many to list. Go for it!!
Don't let the (forum) idiots get to you. One of my first posts I had two people going absolutely postal on me over a comment on LED lights. They just wouldn't quit even when I checked out of the thread. Some just have more time than brains! Hang in there and have fun. Post often from the road with LOTS of photos and lifetime experiences to share.
