It looks awful crowded up there, hope I can find a clear spot for this thing. It does go up first, then turns?
ok, looked at the instructions, dish to the rear, need 8" clearance within 32". I got that as long as the batwing is not cranked up.
Note to self: Crank batwing down before stowing the trav'ler.
My batwing has a sensor switch (appears to be a magnetic switch similar to the one used by the front door steps) It lights "antenna up" on the dash.
Does the trav'ler do something similar?
Would it make sense for me to get another of these switches, tie it in series with the existing wiring, and attach it to the trav'ler arm in such a way that stowing the trav'ler and the batwing both turn off the "Antenna up" light on the dash?

OBTW, BIG thanks to whoever pout this image thing together, this is soooo much easier!
Personally, I would not install the Trav'ler where your dome is currently located. You ARE going to forget at some point in the future and either put the Trav'ler up or down with the Batwing in the air and tear it clean off your roof.
The Trav'ler does not need to be located on the centerline of the roof and it does not have to be on the very front of the coach. If you can mount it more to the drivers side behind the air horns you would have a better location. If you need to move the antenna back behind the A/C and mount it in on the centerline that would be good as well.
By the way, there are no F-connectors in your box (they are not missing, just not provided) so take the above advice and get some compression fittings to use inside the coach. Use the existing fittings up on the roof.
