Trip from Flagstaff to Hurricane, UT.
What is the best route to take from Flagstaff, AZ to Hurricane Utah and then on to Heber City in our Class A motor home and pulling an SUV? Are the grades really steep? Should we go via Las Vegas?

I live in Hurricane and I have been that route many times. After trying a number of routes, the best one I have found is go 89 North to Page and then go west to Kanab, a short jaunt south to Fredonia and then west to Hurricane. I have gone over Jacob's lake and I have had close calls with truckers going in the other direction and straying into my lane. Also, the scenery from Page to Kanab is amazing!
