Trouble with Workhorse 8.1 motor loosing power

Sounds similar to what happens when the in-tank fuel pump is going bad. A bad fuel filter, which is located back by the fuel tank, usually is not an intermittent problem. He also needs to check the electrical connectors coming out of the steering column to make sure that they are all making good contact.
