TV antenna

I have a bat wing on the roof, with a boost inside the coach.
It kinda works, but not all that great.
Also have a satellite on the roof that does nothing & nobody around here knows anything about it.
What is a better antenna?

  • The antenna on the roof is on a 2000 Dolphin.
The satellite dish is for Direct TV, I've put a receiver in, but it still doesn't lock on the satellite.
Any links to what you guys are talking about.
    Thanks
  • I've had a batwing, Jack, and the new Wingard Rayzar. The Batwing with the wingman along with the Sensar Pro power supply is about as good as it gets for overall performance.
  • I use the King Jack replacement antenna for my Batwing antenna. It has gotten me a lot of channels that were previously unobtainable and some of them are even in English. :B
  • Add a Wingman to your batwing and buy a Winegard Sensar amp with signal Meter.
It has a power signal peak function so you cam aim and maximize your signal.

At my house, went from about 20 channels to over 30. The amp is the best they have made.
  • My Jack ant is giving me better reception and more channels than my bat wing did. You can either get a stand alone Jack ant. like I did or you can get a replacement head for your bat-wing.
  • If it is a recent batwing, (less than five years), it is the best. To use satellite you need a contract with the Sat company, and a receiver. Use "AntennaPoint" to find what OTA stations should be available in your location. BTW, The booster is actually in the antenna head, box and switch inside is a power supply. Having sait that, there is a true booster that goes inside, which also powers the antenna, and provides additional boost of needed.
