- usersmanualExplorer99% of Rvers would ask ""where is the booster located"" as this guy did and 99% of regular folk would take that what he meant he was looking for the switch that turns on the amplifier. Most people likely don't realize this switch is the power supply and the actual amplifier is in the roof antenna but is irrelevant because it still does not indicate where the switch is located and THATS what he ASKED iam sure .as already stated if he was really looking for the ""booster"" then I will stand corrected. In the last case you would then ask where is the sensor pro switch located as its the power supply for the actual booster

Booster (amplifier) is in the head of antenna
12V DC power to booster is via a wall plate where coax cable connects
Button ON....allows 12V DC to go to head of antenna via the coax cable from wall plate to antenna
iam pretty sure what he really asked was where the switch may be located
most times its in the area where the coax multi switch is located
One of the things that burns me is how people keep calling that switch "The Booster" though in some RV's (mine for example) it is (Sensar Pro) a booster in most it's not. far as I know the Sensar Pro is not standard equipment yet.
Old Biscuit's response was proper and instructive, and exactly what I was going to type. I fully support him in this. I do not like to promote ignorance.
I know some folks will thinmk this response unkind.. Well The truth often is.
There is an old saying "The Truth will set you free"
(I know of a whole lot of folks who it would send to prison but that is a political statement so I won't identify them)
The truth may well set you free, but often it will tick you off first. - malexanderExplorer

Hey Old-Biscuit, we both got reprimanded this time. Shall we be the better men here and let it go or shall we rock and roll! I've got enough meds to carry me through. GRIN

I only take reprimands from 'officials' .....but usually with some discussions
All others I just consider the source and move on.
DO hope OP got info that was pertinent
I got banned from IRV2 forums for asking one of the "officials" about a reprimand. I wasn't sure what I'd done/said. He just banned me. Forever, lol. He never did explain.
ROFLOL......I'm currently on 2 week hiatus :B
lol. When they let you back on, tell'em I really am a pretty good guy. I learned you don't doubt the "old-timers", those folks with many many posts.:B
Another funny thing is, I still get their mass emails. - Old-BiscuitExplorer III

Richard - usersmanualExplorerHey u two relax. it was more of a lite joke- anyhow The guy was asking (obviously) for the switch location not for a digital expression of how things are made. if the correct answer is what OB said then I completely misunderstood the OP question.I automatically assumed he was looking for the switch I never thought about that he was looking for the actual booster

So are you saying 'more info' is a bad thing :H
Always figured the more you have at hand the more you can learn.
Guess you and I will have to disagree on what should be posted :R
Kind of makes ya want to cry, when you try and be helpful, with the CORRECT answer and you get reprimanded for it.
Guess that's why we need our meds.
