I currently have Michelin 9R22.5 tyres on my 93 Safari, and the fronts definitely need changing due to age (side wall cracks). Looking at tyre supply sites they all ask for width, then profile (9R), ...

9R22.5 is a common size, at least in North America for older diesel motorhomes, delivery trucks, etc.

You can also go with a 255/80R22.5 Michelin (a little wider, but with 7.5" wheels no problems).
Another alternative with 7.5" wheels is a 265/75R22.5
