Tyre pressures

That's about right I'd say.
Being a 250, 2012 model you won't get away from the tpms light on your dash with the lower pressures unless you've had the pressure thresholds adjusted.
I used to run 50/40 in my 2013 F250 gasser totally empty. Lower in the winter when it was all ice n snow.
Just make sure you air up before loading er down for a trip!

My F350 calls for 65 front and 80 rear...that's what I use.

Ford, and all manufacturers, give you the pressure needed for the full rated weight. When you are running empty you can go down to the pressure needed in the weight charts. It can be a hassle changing the pressure every time you carry something in the truck so most of us inflate to something in between. If I have my 5th wheel hitch installed I leave the pressure for max rating. When I remove the hitch I reduce the rear pressure.

Ok tanks all I tried 60 front and 55 rear today, and much better, will try 55 and 50 later. It is a 350 Disel.

If you are running that empty your rears are over inflated! That and the ride is like the Flintstones car, running on rocks!

This is why there are inflation tables.
