Tyre Sizes

I currently have Michelin 9R22.5 tyres on my 93 Safari, and the fronts definitely need changing due to age (side wall cracks).
Looking at tyre supply sites they all ask for width, then profile (9R), then rim size (22.5).
Where do I find the width ? as the embossing on the tyre only says 9r22.5.

Our rim widths are slightly different over here, so swapping out US tyres isn't that simple.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

9R22.5 is a common size, at least in North America for older diesel motorhomes, delivery trucks, etc.

Might look at this Michelin RV Tire Guide: http://www.michelinrvtires.com/michelinrv_en_us/toolbox/reference-material.jsp

Just click on RV tire guide.

You can also go with a 255/80R22.5 Michelin (a little wider, but with 7.5" wheels no problems).

Another alternative with 7.5" wheels is a 265/75R22.5
X-2, this is the website that I used to find a Michelin Dealer that participated in FMCA, Michelin Tire Fleet Program, Michelin Tires at a discount! I paid $378.00 per tire (22.5) last fall using this discount program.
