- DSDP_DonExplorerPeople get told/sold that Tyron rings prevent blowouts.....they DON'T. They ONLY keep the FLAT tire from coming off the rim if you're forced to drive for a distance with the tire flat. During testing it was shown the tire could be driven flat until only the sidewalls were left, but that was on a much lighter Ford Crown Victoria.
- Mile_HighExplorerOoooh BAD Camping World!
I refused the Tyron Rings so they took them out of the deal. Low and behold, there is a Tyron Ring wrench in the bag from the original owner. The original owner bought it at the same Camping World.
So.....moral of the story is, sell the Tyron Rings to every buyer, even if the coach already has them, or just don't install them at all like one of the other posts, and if the owner finds out give him back his money.
What a scam. Not saying the product is bad, but when you give the job to finance to upsell them, everything gets sour. - FEDownerExplorerI have the but have never used them. I would buy them again if I was getting another RV.

Already getting the "upsell" :) Anybody have an opinion on Tyron Rings?
Absolutely! For a reasonable price, I'll be more than glad to provide you my opinion. After all isn't your family's safety worth the investment in getting sound opinions? :B Mile High wrote:
