Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel

We just had a problem with our 2001 Cummins 350 engine with only 65,000 miles. The seals on the injector fuel pump had to be replaced. We were told it was the result of using Ultra Low Sulfur fuel and not enough additives.
Has anyone else had this problem.
  • Many of the Cummins ISB used in busses and delivery trucks had that problem, there have been a few reports of the problem with the early ISC and some ISL engines. It is not common on either ISC or ISL, but can happen.
