This is a major factor in our deciding where we may move to once we can leave NJ. As screwed up as NJ is we pay 'property tax' on our home, income tax on what we make, and sales tax on what we buy. Period.
The Property tax is essentially local, by town, city or township. there is a County amount included, but it is one bill. Sales and income tax are State only, no local add-ons. So the MH is paid for when purchased and registered each year. I looked in WV and VA thinking that might be good, but I saw the tax rates, than MH and any S&B we'd want to line in would cost MORE than NJ! hard to believe.
