From a former 1995 F53 owner under a 1996 Dolphin ... Fuel Pump! I proved it the hard way. I wired in a backup pump mounted on the frame by the fuel filter and wired into the F53 controls (relay and crash switch)actuated manually by a spare switch provided in the dash by National. When the in tank pump quit I could switch on the backup and go as far as I wanted. Hard headed.
