My MH would sometimes cut out like yours. Other times I would lose power but not stall, coast to the side of the road rev the engine and be on my way again. Both of my fuel pumps were new. When mind did stall it did not have a cranking problem. Just sometimes it wouldn't fire. I finally changed the EEC relay and problem went away. I put the old relay back in and problem came back. Cheap fix and no tools required. Its located right next to the fuel pump relay under the hood.
I chased this for two seasons until I found it. I now carry a spare.
