Not only common sense, but here it is required by law. Plus the system must hold the brakes applied for 15 minutes!
I cant remember what the license plates said, I thought Oregon and we were in Laughlin Nevada, the pics do show a yellow plate, I did forget to mention I never saw a electric brake away system and the pics don't really do justice, it looked far worse with my eyes than the pics do, wiring to the half broke lights were frayed, straps on Jeep are not that big and looked rotted, some rust in areas on trailer, tires looked under inflated and old and the pics did not get the slight bend in the hitch under the RV, did not want the owner coming out and asking why I was taking pics but I just could not let this one get away without pics..
I sure hope he makes it back home without issues or maybe highway patrol will see this and make him disconnect the trailer till its fixed right..
