You don't say how far you move. When I travel from CO to CA, for example, I have to rescan anyway. :)
OTA signals are now all digital.
Plus, when my inexpensive TV loses power, it forgets and I have to rescan.

Like someone else said - most RV parks we've hit are still using the analog channels to push content. Separate tuner in the TV.

The park manager explained that because the park gets HD and digital channels we had to do a scan. We did that and got great cable reception and all their stations. It was a new one on me.
That's a nice park. We were there in June.
