I didn't hear the fan clutch engage on my first trip, so I installed a new AC Delco stock replacement fan clutch but never heard it kick on during my second trip either. Thinking of trying a Hayden severe duty fan clutch to see what happens. It bugs me to know that this is a bandaid fix as I bet the unit wouldn't have run this hot towing my boat up this grade when it was new. I would like to find and fix the real problem.
