Have you thought of installing a supplemental electric fan that you could control via a switch. Most newer cars (Like my 2 Subaru's and Mustang) have electric fans) If you go to Amazon, pull up Flex-A-Lite 398 Syclone 16" Reversible Electric Fan. Its reversible, so you can mount it either in front of or behind the radiator. Hook it up and instead of using a sensor operated switch, you can hook it up through a dash mounted switch that you could throw when the temp. rises.
