Upgrade Mattress

Just bought a 2014 32' Sunseeker and looking to replace the mattress. Before buying one we would like to lay on it and try it out rather then just buying it online. Any suggestions on where I can find a a good mattress would be appreciated.

    Yep, this.

Our Winnie has a base for a short queen, but fits a full queen mattress with just a little bit of walk-around sacrifice.

We did the topper thing on our previous TT and it made a world of difference.
  • We havea standard size mattress in the 5er. a Couple of years ago we bougt a new mattress for our S&B and a second one for the 5er. Doesn't matter where we are, the sleep is good.
  • Sunseeker mattress--don't waste your money on a topper. Won't fix the problem. We bought a new Avena mattress from Camping World. 10 inch all foam (7 inches of dense foam with 3 inches of memory foam--like a topper.) It is incredible how much better it is. Ours is a full queen with one rounded corner (corner bed). I intended to cut the corner to size, but have not yet and may not. It doesn't stick out that far and so what if I run into the corner of the bed when I walk by--no harm, no foul.
  • Camping World short queen worked for us. Best upgrade we have made short of new shocks and sway bars.
  • Our Sunseeker came with a great Serta pillow top full sized Queen bed. I thought that was standard.
  • We went to a reg mattress store and ordered the one we wanted. They can chop any mattress to the short size at the factory. If you dont have a short bed just pick one.

We have a 2011 Coachmen Concord with a short queen. We didn't like the mattress until we bought a topper for it. Now we love it. You might try a topper before you invest in a new mattress. Just a suggestion, for what it's worth.

X2 - A topper made a huge difference in ours. Before, we'd sleep uncomfortably and wake up with some aches and pains. After, we felt like we were as comfortable as at home.
