I don't see many here that have had both gassers and diesel. I've had both class A C in gasser and diesel pusher. In that motorhome the diesel should get better gas mileage fuel mileage than the gasser I would expect in the neighborhood of 8 to 10 miles to the gallon. With a gas version I would expect about six to the gallon. Maintenance wise if you still do it yourself the diesel will cost a bit more however the oil changes should be almost a wash. The diesel will definitely be quieter in the Cab area. It will definitely pull better and a toad will almost be like it's not there, although you will want a braking system. But that goes for the gas unit as well. I'm not sure about that motorhome but if it is the four bag frame it may have a trailing arm problem. Source engineering has a $3000 fix.
OH as an after thought I have gone back from a DP to a Class C and am not missing much as far as amenities or comfort.
