Really I'd be curious to the cfm of air movement per second between the two. While the size of the fan blade can matter, it's not everything. There is also the speed factor.
The larger fan will "feel" more powerful primarily because of the shroud of plastic around the fan that without it, one would not tell much difference.
Also to consider, who says you always want the fan on.... Perhaps just an "open vent" would be nice, and that's where the shroud of plastic is the problem.
