It's really in what you want out of life and, since there is no financial sense in owning a MH in the first place, one might as well just enjoy the comfort of the largest most comfortable MH you can pay for. Forget age, there are so many quality DP's on the market from the late 1990's and early 2000's you should be able to find anything you want.
One could easily make the argument that the quality of MH's has declined since the mid 2000's or so despite the superficial glitz that has been added.
Just my humble opinion.
This post is exactly how I see it also. Drive one of each and see what you think. My 15 year old DP is still going strong.
