Thank you for all the opinions! With my work schedule, some might think it is overkill to have a class A at all. I currently have a 2012 Surveyor TT and a truck to pull it that are both paid for. Since my time is limited, it would be nice to just get in the motor home and go! Everything I own is paid for so not debt. I agree that RVs are not investments by any means but you only live once and the wife and I really enjoy being able to take our "second home" with us and also being able to take our dogs.
I noticed that many DPs have cummins engines. My friend is a diesel mechanic and really likes cummins. Are there any brands of engines to maybe avoid? I am still leaning towards the gas MH but at this point won't rule out a DP if the price is right.
