I think it's a different beast when you're planning to full-time. What is a great deal for a seasonal or part-time use is not always as good a deal for a full-time home. And if the OP is not mechanically inclined than thinking about where they will live if there is a chassis issue that takes a week to repair is an important consideration. And while I love my MH, there are practicalities about trailers that may make it a better choice.
The OP can go where he wants with the info received, but I think he should get as much info as possible to make an informed decision.
