OK, Simple person here checking in.
If I were to go away as many nights a year as I do in the RV, Food, Hotel, Gas, entertainment, etc. I would spend a significant amount of $$$. I also probably would not go as often or as far as I likely would not be able to go at the drop of a hat. When I add it all up and factor in the FUN and FAMILY time, the RV wins. If I were to buy a two bedroom cheap condo a used Hyundai, no internet, no cable, no eating out, no... I am sure they'd bury me with a much larger bank account, but I'd might as well never have lived. Had a family friend didn't get that we as a family traveled, he said, Why? I can see it on TV. He left a bigger pile of money that I'll ever have, but he didn't get to enjoy it much.
