This isn't the answer to your question, but my friend (assistant manager at a truck tire place) says that the most common reason they send a service truck out is to deal with some sort of valve stem extender or valve core problem. Much more frequently than a valve stem, tire, or wheel problem.
If someone wants a valve stem extender, or cat's eye pressure balancer, or something similar, they make the buyer sign on the purchase order that the tire service is not responsible for any problems that arise.
And if I were to want valve extenders, the only one I would install are the ones sold by Alcoa Wheels
They also have extender stabilizers. But I don't know if they fit your wheel covers or not.
And you can spend the big bucks and get Dually Valves!
