Mill Supply Mirror LinkOur E450 has mirrors on both sides that look like the above. They're painted white, not stainless steel, and they ARE meant for 102" body vs. the 96" shown here. I believe the part of the 90* arm that meets the mirror could be extended with a piece of pipe/tubing and a long bolt/piece of threaded rod.
I was disappointed that the used coach didn't have those fancy single-arm, power adjust, heated, lighted mirrors. With all the grief many are having, I'm losing that disappointment.
Previous owners had little wide-angle spot mirrors stuck to the glass of the original mirror heads. I added 7" round wide angle mirrors on homemade brackets, and later I added "pedestal" truck lights (the kind that stand on a fender, Red Front Lens, Amber Rear Lens) to each mirror. I can see very well with the full original flat mirrors and the wide angles, and the truck lights give good marker and turn visibility.
NO requirement for the mirror to have a marker or turn light.
Mill Supply is good about answering questions on the phone, but this is a complete replacement option for under $200. If I were to do this, I would want to find a way or have a shop install threaded "inserts" at the fastener holes. Or, you could pull the door skin and put Nuts and Washers inside.
