The remotely controlled and heated single-arm Velvac mirrors have been superb on my 102 inch wide 2005 E450 Itasca Class C.
The remotely controlled feature I wouldn't be without. For instance, I can scan way up to see low hanging branches when backing up or an unfurling awning when traveling, as well as scanning way down to see stumps/posts/rocks when backing up or unlatched compartment doors when traveling. Obviously for these reasons, one cannot substitute a backup camera for remotely controlled Velvac mirrors, either.
