- RonandWanMIExplorerWell I have worked in laundry appliance engineering for 30 years and have always found that ventless combos were the most inefficient dryers of all.
That is why ALL home and commercial dryers vent the exhaust outside.
The ventless combos 'do' have a place, but they are NOT energy efficicent, but they will do a slower job if you cannot exhaust outside.
But, they will do the job only slower.

Sorry, I disagree. We've had both made by Splendide, and the moisture extracted in the dry cycle of the non-vented unit is flushed into the gray tank. not into the r.v. It washes small loads well and the drying cycle is much faster than our old vented unit. Just a more efficient design in my opinion.
No one in this thread said it vented into the RV. Maybe you followed the outside link, not sure, but the vented units blow air and moisture outside and the non-vented one uses additional water to condense the moisture from the clothes and drain both to the gray tank along with the rest of the wash/rinse water. - gboppExplorerI'll agree with we can't wait...the stackable units are better than the combo.
We have a combo (unvented) and like it, it's convenient.
But, I would rather have a vented unit. - We_Cant_WaitExplorerWe have the stackable washer dryer set up. A few reasons for the stackable set up, 1) you can be washing the 2nd load while the 1st is in the dryer, 2) the cloths dry faster in a vented unit, 3) if one or the other units break down it'll be cheaper to replace then the all in one units.

- dons2346ExplorerBelieve all the comments above.
- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IINo, stay away. You need the warm air to dry in a reasonable amount of time. The ventless also used more water as it sprays cold water to condense the moisture and get it out of the clothes.
- jorbill2orExplorer IINo they aren't .. Pro no hole in side of coach con take forever to dry
Put the vent in the side of the coach ... You won't be sorry .
