Over a decade ago I needed help filing a VA claim (Agent Orange) so I went to the American Legion Hall in Bremerton, WA. The American Legion Hall in Bremerton told me there was nobody here to help me that they were a drinking club and they sent me to the DAV! The DAV took care of business for me and I'm very grateful to them.
I started another Veteran's day tread on another forum.
I serve 68-72 II Corps, Qui Nhon etc, VietNam.
I still serve but not in uniform.
Thanks Guys for Serving. Now help out the foundering American Legion Halls.
To our Fathers and their Generations that served in WWI and WWII, Korea and Vietnam a great big howdy.
