  • To the OP: Thanks you from this 30-year combat vet.
To those who want to turn this into a government bashing topic, SHUT UP.

This is what I was talking about in my former post, when I say us Viet vet changed that.

Yes and that is something that us Viet Vets changed. You can hate the policies without taking it out on the troops...Next thing we have to change is the perception of patriotism...It DOES NOT just mean supporting the military, it should also mean if you are manufacturing a product as a patriot you should be making it with AMERICAN LABOR...Supporting AMERICAN FAMILIES...

This is for General RVing Issues and the plight of the poor soldiers who were duped by Bush and Cheney into giving up life and limbs/bowels and brain function to find weapons of mass destruction (which Bush did a silly sketch at a press club dinner which you can find online) to poke fun at not finding any in Iraq.

I support the soldiers but not reckless wars of aggression for the profit of a few and the misery of the many.
  • As a vet, I want to thank all of our veterans that ever served in any capacity. As the strength of any wheel relies on the smallest cog. No military person is unimportant regardless of his/her capacity. I also want to thank the American people for their open out pouring of well deserved and over due appreciation for our military men and women. They all deserve our highest praise and admiration. As a Viet Nam vet I recall being spit upon and called baby killers and worse upon arriving home. Duty requires many sacrifices and some scares never heal. Agree or not with our political leaders, our military personnel need support. They follow orders and keep us free. Words can hurt and even maim.

Thank you all for your support.
  • We owe everything to our veterans. Without them we would not be free to enjoy this great land! God Bless America and our Vets.
  • May God Bless all our service men and women serving home or abroad and keep you safe that you may return home safe.

Our prayers to the families of those that will Forever Stand Watch, so that the rest of us could come home.
