- WoodGlueExplorerAn amazing transformation!
Too bad RV Mfgs don't listen to you and incorporate your ideas!
WoodGlue - Teacher_s_PetExplorerVery nice renovation.
- jsharwellExplorerGreat job. Really makes the RV more useful for the family. The video and explanations were great also.
- classicdudeExplorerVery nice!
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIFantastic renovation. What makes any RV the most fun is when it is customized to suit the needs of the users.
Our coach is a never ending project, which we don't mind at all. ON every trip we make a list of things we would like to change or add. When we get back home, we make the changes. - dsa3778ExplorerWow that looks awesome! I love how you were able to make some great changes without compromising space. The bunk bed idea in the back is very clever. Gave me some really good ideas for our RV as well!
- doxiemom11Explorer IIGreat Job. It looks like a comfortable home for you now.
You can check on this, but I think the carbon monoxide detectors are best mounted at waist height or below. I have heard it moves from the floor up, so the lower the detector, the sooner it is detected. We have 2 and one is right at the floor, and the other is waist high. - C350amgExplorerGreat !!! Love the bunk bed idea.
We should see more videos of transformation ideas like yours - amandasgrammaExplorerWOW! You all did an awesome job!
Could you please explain two things?
1) what is the name again for the counter top stuff you used....I love them!
2) After sand blasting the hardware, you used what to make them "brushed nickle"...I've been looking for products and haven't found anything! - msmith1199Explorer IILooks very nice. The issue I would have had is it looked real nice before the renovations too! I don't mind tearing out junk cabinets, but you took out some really nice cabinets. Also as a safety issue, you should either move your fire extinguisher to near the exit door, or add a second one by the exit door. If there is a fire your first movement should always be toward the exit and if you chose to fight the fire, you want to do so from the exit or with the exit to your back so you don't get trapped by the fire. And now that I just said that to you, it made me realize that it's probably a real good idea to have a fire extinguisher in the bedroom too. That way if there's a fire at night you have something to fight it with while getting the family out the windows.
