View/Navion Grey Water Pump-Freeze Protected???

I am purchasing a 2015 Winnebago Navion (24G) and now find out the grey tank must be pumped over the axle to drain. Is this pump in a heated area of the coach?

Well..... When you look at the lay out... The poo tank is in front of the axle. The grey behind. It would be a plumber's nightmare to rig a 4" line with a blade valve into the black water dump located midship ...ahead of the poo tank actually.

Much easier and smarter to plumb a small line with a pump to empty the grey tank and join it with the 4" from the poo tank. On mine there is a larger pipe from the grey tank and and a blade valve before the pump. You could hack that and put in a 4" connector.

Any time saved draining that tank is lost by having to rig another 4" sewie pipe from the tank to the camp drain...might even have to reposition the RV.

Yep! Folks gripe that it takes a couple minutes and you have to hold the switch in. And, that the need the tsunami flow to flush the pipe...which you needn't worry about.... there's plenty of flow with the moderator pump to wash the wrinkle hose.

I'd rather spend a minute or three on my knees pushing a button and pulling a valve than screwing around hooking up a second drain and maybe moving the RV. But that's me.
