Wow, that is one clean old Class A. The Winnebago was pretty much the gold standard back then (or at least silver). Love the overhead bunk; something that is extremely rare in today's A's, but was pretty standard back then. My grandparents had a class A way back when, similar design, similar year, that had a drop down bunk over the cab.
  • I love those. It's just great to see old coaches. Nostalgia of fun camping trips. I also liked sometimes because it wasn't always a luxury competition, but more in the fun for camping and RV'ing.
  • The new Brave won't be mistaken for the old ones, but the retro styling is pretty neat.

  • I grew up in southern California and saw many of those pulled into the driveways of the homes in the newer nicer neighborhoods. You pretty much had to be in the upper class to have one of those babies.
  • Winnebago thought that people liked that style so much that they brought the design back with the 2015 Brave. I haven't seen one of the new ones on the road yet but the old style is iconic. I like the avocado color stove.
  • Okay, now it's working. The old RV's are cool. :C
Thanks for posting. It would be a neat restoration project.
    But, I have enough projects.
