The video has been around for a long time... Still pretty neat to see the full 360 degree turns...

  • Great video - thanks for the link! I've seen still images of that setup, but never moving images. If you go to VW shows you can often see some interesting things that people have done over the years. We prefer to stick with the more typical type 2 camper ;) 37 years old and going strong

  • I would love one of those!! I already have the front half, a 1966 VW Beetle the same color as the one behind the trailer when it heads down the highway (Bahama Blue).

By chance was the pasenger seat removed and you lived in Fla.
Just Kidding, my 12yr old son has had his 1964 vw since he was 4 and he loves it. For his 5th birthday we put the Herbie stripes kit on it and his own "Herbie" came to his party with presents and never left.
Funny thing our son will not to this day let us eat or drink in it as he (Herbie)will get dirty. Really! like our cars don't get dirty from the kids eating and drinking in them, WOW

  • I'm no "WEIGHT NAZI" but we own VW's and they do well to carry their own weight much less a trailer with gear and psg in the car.
I know I wouldn't have bought into that whole sales pitch, not to mention only having 4 gears and small brakes. "OH WHAT A FEELING"

Now that's driving by the seat of your pants. :B
