I had a 1974 Winnebago Indian. The one in the movie was shorter, I guess politics at the time (oil embargo in 1974) caused downsizing.
Mine handled horribly with the front end too light!
It had tanks, generator and 2-40 lb propane tanks behind the back axle. You had to watch the outside mirror for a semi passing, it would blow the RV 1/2 a lane over if you weren't ready!
Bought it with a bad delaminating roof and replaced it myself, had to build it on the ground then put on and fasten.
BUT, I still had good times in it!
