I have no problem with that WHEN there's a park where we need it to be at a price that makes sense for the time we need it. But when there isn't...

Walmart. Parking lot security and and endless supply of cold ice cream & food. Plus there are tools, parts, and glue if you need it. :)

The Florida Welcome Center would be my choice.

Lots of spots, Florida Highway Patrol on station 24/7/365

Orange juice in the morning...no charge.

Two thoughts
1: IN favor of Cracker Barrel.. You pull in and park usually in the back, Walk around front and notify management and enjoy a very nice dinner. about 25-30 dollars for two last time I did that.. Tip included (NOTE: If you have a gift card (I used to get them 3 or 4 times a year) you can put the tip on the card)

Then in the AM. walk back in and enjoy Breakfast

And continue your trip.

I'm only 50 miles from FL, I think there may be an empty site here.. We have sites in the 20-30 dollar range. Full hookup.. But I stress I THINK THERE MIGHT be an empty site.. Not sure.

Another campground just 3 miles south of me (Exit 49 if north bound turn right less than quarter mile right again,, I'm 3 miles to the left)

And two more (turn left) at the next exit, go to the 2nd one.
