Want to cancel RV sale as wife lost job - how can we?
Yesterday we made a deal with a local RV Dealership for a used RV (2014). We signed their quote which list purchase price, down payment, etc. We were supposed to pick it up on Saturday.
Today my wife went to work and they had layoffs. While they did not include her yet it sounds like within the next month or so she may be out of work.
I know the 3 day rule for cars is bogus and only applies to sales made in your home - not on a lot. We have not signed any bank papers yet or any other kind of contract with the dealer but due to my wife's employment situation we do not want to finish this deal. Is there any way to get out of this in the State of Oregon? The dealer said no - we are stuck - too bad for us.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
