Last night we had 100% intention of buying this RV. If my wife's company had not announced some of her co workers were getting laid off today - and maybe more coming- we would have bought this RV no problem. It was in great shape and the price was OK.
So we gave them a check for $10,000.00 which was 1/2 of the total deposit required.
Looking back we should have made it for $1,000.00 but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
We have tried talking and pleading with them but to no avail. As of the writing of this e-mail they are waiting for me to call them back and set up an appointment to "work" things out. Their suggestion was we put less down, finance more so that when/if my wife gets laid off we can use the "extra" cash to make our payments. So very nice of them.
I thought it was kind of strange that that they have been pushing for my wife and I BOTH to come in immediateley so we they can "help" us. Makes me think we may have a case for getting out of this. But I will let you all know what the attorney say.
