We have only owned 2 motor homes. We bought a 27 foot gasser to make sure we liked the camping life style. We did, but also realized the camper was a bit small for our needs. A year ago this spring we upgraded to a 38 foot diesel. It is like night and day. The ride is so much nicer. No listening to a gas engine straining up hills. We bought them both very used (1999 and 1998). We never towed with the gasser, but I can say the DP does not care if we pull the Malibu behind it or not. Of course the levelers, quiet generator etc. help too.
If we ever decide to trade this one it will be for a bigger DP.
