It depends on WHY it was in the shop for that long. It also depends on if the RV was able to be used while in the shop and was it in the shop for special order parts and did THOSE parts cause the RV to not be usable? A LOT of owners will leave the unit at the shop to await special order parts instead of using the RV until the parts come in. SMART owners will use the RV while awaiting parts and then bring it back in. MOST OEM's will expedite any part that causes a RV to NOT be able to be used. There are very few items that can cause a RV to not be used. All you have to do is send the documentation to the OEM with the timeline and WHY it was at the shop for so long. usually they will extend the warranty for a few months if they agree. Doug
