Regardless of what anyone says her3, you won't know the true condition until you see it and get it. It's possible "Dad" took good care of it and there might be minimal woke required. You won't know until you get it. Ask "Dad" lots of questions. When was it actually used last? Last engine maintenance? Any known problems before he parked it. After you have the facts on last use and any mind of previous maintenance, then you will know how to proceed. You sound reasonable in your approach, start slow and methodical, one step at a time and have a lot of fun abd pleasure doing it. If and when you run into an issue that is bigger than your ability, time, or tools to do, don't be afraid to recruit help or assistance. The whole RV experience is a fantastic life style.
