Take your time and don't rush into replacing the rubber or anything else until you figure out whether it's worth it. Make sure it's structurally sound - spend $125 and have it pressure tested to determine all the sources of "leaks" (likely plenty). And remember that regardless of the amt of money you spend or the upgrades you make - this rig will likely have a nominal resale value. It's possible/likely you can buy a rig that is 30 years younger for what it will cost you to fix the basics. Ain't being negative - just a guy who is still driving a 91 RV who gets regular request from friend to fix his old Dodge RV.
