Wow, so excited for you. Don’t listen to the spoil sports. This is just a mechanical contrivance and as such is repairable. If you don’t mind a little elbow grease, for sure fixable. I’ve seen many older class C motor homes repaired and fixed up nicely. I sure wish someone had gifted me a MH, no way would I have turned it down. I would’ve rolled up my sleeves and gotten to work.
Note this blog is full of folks with 6 figure MH’s moaning and groaning about the cost to maintain or repair. Much better IMHO to get a paid off model and incur costs to repair with no massive loan weighing one down.
