My comments were not meant to throw a wet blanket on the old RV refurbishment project. There are those who have the budget, abilities, drive, tools, time, work space and help available to "turn a sows ear into a silk purse." I was only trying to give a heads up about what to expect from my own experience buying "a silk purse that was a sows ear in disguise". Spending around $10K on parts, appliances, dash and roof AC, generator etc. and repairs that are not doable by the owner, and the time it will take before the rig is safe and fully functional, may not be as cost-effective as buying a newer rig that is ready to use.
