Some of you seem to think, that if any Holding tank overfills and then the water is pushing up, that there is NO pressure. WRONG. As someone who has done this (fresh water on preps thankfully) a few times over the years, you would be amazed at how much force(pressure) is exerted on the tank/fittings above the tank BEFORE the water travels all the way up that 1.5 inch vent pipe to the roof. Remember, (I had the black tank flush on(45 psi), but the OP had the washer drain pump pumping water into the tank, and THAT exerts pressure. So, it is NOT uncommon when you overfill a black tank, for the water to have pressure before the water finally makes it to the roof vent and out the top on the roof. You open the Toilet and it is indeed going to spray/force the water out that larger hole you just created. Doug
