If the Splendid is leaking, it would more than likely be the drain pump. The shaft seal will need replacing every few years. Replaced ours twice in 11 years of fulltiming. As to how the water is routed to the black tank? You'd have to ask the manufacturer about that. Actually, I'd like mine routed to the black but like most, it goes to the gray tank.
