Wash/Wax

So, this weekend will be dedicated to fully exploring our new (used) coach....picking it up tomorrow. First order of business is a thorough cleaning inside and out. I suspect my wife will be on the interior and my job will be to handle the exterior. With that said, are there any products better suited to cleaning the slightly chalky oxidation? According to the seller, the coach has a wrap instead of paint? Anything to avoid? It's a 1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor.

  • The wrap changes everything. As stated by rgatijnet1 you need to talk with the wrap folks on how to approach exterior cleaning.
  • If it is the vinyl wrap you should check with the wrap manufacturer before you try anything. A wrap is different than vinyl graphics and probably requires special cleaning products so as not to damage it.
  • Bar Keepers Friend is good for removing oxidation.

It's used during the ZEP/Red Max Pro application process.

It did a nice job on our 96 Southwind.

Some like the process, some don't. Decide for yourself.
