Water Pump Ran Dry
I drained my fresh water tank and forgot to turn off the pump. Might have ran dry for almost a day before I found it. It still pumps but I was wondering how much damage I did.

They are a diaphragm pump.
Diaphragms move very little----1/8" travel
They do not rely on water for cooling or lubrication
Look up mfg. and they will state 'designed to run dry' or similar
